So far, the glyphosate litigation has been confined to two trials alleging that Roundup weed killer causes cancer in humans. With a $289 million award in the first trial, the number of cases filed exploded overnight. What is glyphosate, though? Is the science clear-cut that it causes cancer in humans? What do regulatory bodies say about glyphosate exposure levels? How has all of this come together in the past year to expand the scope of claims that are being filed, and what are the possible “next waves” of the glyphosate litigation? All of these questions and more will be discussed at this brown bag lunch session.
Light lunch and refreshments will be served.
